Boy are we excited to share this wedding with you! We met Laura in Venice, Italy while backpacking through europe back in the summer of 2001 (she is from St. Louis, Missouri), and have happily kept in touch all these years. So when we heard she was getting married to no other then the most awesome Boston born Bobby we couldn’t have been more excited. Not only is it our first far (plane ride) destination wedding for photography,
but we styled, arranged flowers and set up the whole reception!
I also did her wedding invitations. See them here
The weather leading up to the wedding was perfect, and was supposed to be here on the beach.
Then as you can see the weather the morning of the wedding, was less then perfect with ominous clouds and pouring rain.

So with a bit of imagination and lots of furniture rearranging we moved the beach ceremony indoors, and it turned out nothing short of perfect. If it had been on the beach then the sound of the wind and the waves would have muffled the most amazing, loving, funny, sweet, honest, and genuine vows I have ever witnessed. (although I am a bit bias as we have known them for so long.) I couldn’t even focus to take pictures my eyes were so watery. Luckily Erin is a MAN and powers through it. It may have been pouring rain outside, but the tears inside were pouring out even harder. :)

We decided to do all formal pictures the next day at the beach, which not only calmed everyone down as they hadn’t even started getting dressed, but Laura cheered right up and said, “Shit Yeah! I’ll wear the dress again!” And back to watching Shreck she went with all her nieces. FYI to all brides whom plan their wedding outside and it rains- just turn on Shrek, grab some wine, and wait for everyone else to figure out what to to do, it will work itself out.

So on to the wedding…

This was a great party as you can see in the next pic…
And more photos in the gallery below. But thanks to Sean {of Holly & Sean} for helping us turn our gallery into a viewing light box, so you only have to click on one pic from the small gallery thumbnails to see all of them! Amazing and easy for you!!
Stay tuned for the Day After Shoot. So Fun!!!
